Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Verndr products and services (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Verndr provides a zero-knowledge encrypted ecosystem including the Verndr Vault, Eirvr Health Tracker, Klarvr File Processor, and Klixr CLI. All data is encrypted client-side before reaching our servers. We do not have the ability to access, read, or process your encrypted content.

3. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your passphrase and recovery key. Due to our zero-knowledge architecture, we cannot recover your passphrase or decrypt your data if you lose access. You must be at least 16 years of age to create an account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Store or transmit content that violates applicable law
  • Attempt to circumvent or reverse-engineer our encryption
  • Disrupt or overload our infrastructure
  • Resell or redistribute the Service without authorization

5. Payment and Billing

Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. You may upgrade, downgrade, or cancel at any time. Refunds are available within 30 days of initial purchase. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.

6. Data Ownership

Your data is yours. We claim no ownership over any content you store, encrypt, or process through the Service. Upon account deletion, all encrypted data is permanently purged from our systems within 30 days.

7. Service Availability

We strive for 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Scheduled maintenance will be communicated in advance. Fleet plan users receive SLA guarantees as defined in their service agreement.

8. Limitation of Liability

Verndr is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We are not liable for data loss resulting from forgotten passphrases, lost recovery keys, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control. Our total liability is limited to the amount you have paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email at least 30 days before taking effect. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration, except where prohibited by law.
